Kirin J Callinan Announces New Zealand Tour
We were properly introduced to musician Kirin J Callinan when he opened for Grizzly Bear (who is is currently touring across Europe with) in Auckland last year. His performance was a multifaceted affair - read: all kinds of cray - as he hyperactively flitted between promiscuous balladry and rambunctious noise. He will release a new album, EMBRACISM, on June 28th and today he has announced a nationwide New Zealand tour and dropped the video for the title track: a schizophrenic study of the human body that provides an apt accompaniment to his live shtick.
