Lamb Of God Announce Auckland Show

Friday 12th July, 2013 12:58PM
Lamb of God have announced their return to New Zealand for one Auckland show in September. The band have had a hard time of it lately,  forced to pull out of their last scheduled appearance here due to undisclosed family reasons and then frontman Randy Blythe was arrested in the Czech Republic on charges relating to the death of 19 year old fan who he allegedly pushed from the stage at one of their shows.  Recently cleared of the charges, the band are back on the touring circuit and finally able to bring their Resolution tour to New Zealand...

PRESS RELEASE:

"FREE RANDY!" - in recent times there has been no more impassioned a plea from the metalheads of the world.

And their pleas were not in vain. Vocalist Randy Blythe is a free man, and Virginia wrecking crew LAMB OF GOD will at long last return to New Zealand shores after disappointingly cancelling their scheduled March 2012 appearance due to a family emergency following Australia's Soundwave circuit.

Continuing to tour in support of their 2012 masterpiece RESOLUTION - an album Metal Hammer referred to as "the album of their career" - one of the most acclaimed acts in modern heavy metal show no signs of deviating from their bulldozing brand of belligerent riffery, chugging rhythms and brutally delivered, crushing vocals.

A band continuing to push beyond the peak of their own powers, Lamb Of God are an unmissable live experience for any discerning headbanger - and, with Randy now freed, the experience will be even more meaningful for those who supported the band during their darkest hour.
