Video Collection: Laneway Festival 2014 (Part One)

The 2014 Laneway Festival line-up was announced this morning and it is a doozy! Critically-acclaimed international artists likes Savages, James Blake, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Kurt Vile will all be performing alongside some of our favourite 2013 break-through acts like Parquet Courts, Chvrches and Jagwar Ma. Local favourites like Lorde, Ghost Wave and Watercolours round out the line-up and to celebrate we have compiled our favourite videos from performing acts, which you can check out below.

Savages' 'I Am Here', from their 2013 debut full length album, Silence Yourself.

Kurt Vile's 'Baby's Arms' from his fourth studio album, Smoke Ring for My Halo, released in 2011.

'Borrowed Time' by Parquet Courts, from their sophomore album Light Up Gold, released in 2012. (This video was recorded at Death By Audio in Brooklyn, a D.I.Y space run by Oliver Ackermann from A Place To Bury Strangers who played this year's Laneway Festival.)

James Blake's 'Retrograde', from his critically acclaimed sophomore album Overgrown, released earlier this year.

'Mute' by Youth Lagoon, from his 2013 album Wondrous Bughouse.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra's 'Nerve Damage', from their 2011 self-titled debut album.

'Separator' by Rackets, directed by Eddy Fifield and released in June of this year.

'Royals' by Lorde, from her forthcoming debut album Pure Heroine.
