Review: Paquin - II

Bigger, bolder and better. It would appear the art of crafting the successful sequel has been adopted whole-heartedly by Paquin front-man and songwriter, Tom Healy. In the time and space between 2011's first EP and it's numerically themed follow-up, II, (a trilogy of releases is planned) the band have grown in both number and ambition. Nowhere is this more obvious than just a few minutes in to opener 'Gunn'. Trace elements of that first outing clinging on for dear life as an all-encompassing wall of electro-pop dance beats and giant synths looks you in the face and dares you not to dance....
