Auckland singer-song writer Nick Raven is premiering his brand new single 'Nineteen Fifty Three' today. The song takes it's titular cues from the decade that bought us inventions such as the barcode and video cassette recorders, but musically it draws inspiration from the eighties with melodic synth lines and snappy drum beats. The song is the first taste of Raven's upcoming EP 'Follow Your Bliss' and was produced by Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Mel C) and engineered by Nick Poortman (Junica). Take a listen below...
