Listen: Black Science - FDB
Auckland three-piece Black Science are sharing clamorous single 'FDB' ahead of the release of their sophomore EP Cheer Up next week. The track is one of four songs that the alt-punk group laid down at Arcade Recordings with the assistance of Rohan Evans of Whammy fame. The single takes a dig at vapid stereotypes ('FDB' being an acronym for Fuckin Douche Bags) and sees the trio joining in on vocal duties - the high pace only broken for a Sabbath-esque bridge near song's closing. Apparently there is a video in the works for the track, so keep an eye out for that and in the meantime take a listen below...
Black Science will be joined by Threat.Meet.Protocol and Shoutin' Preachin' for the Cheer Up EP release gig on August 2nd at Whammy bar, where a download card for the EP will be available. Head over here for more details.
