David Kilgour and the Heavy Eights are premiering new album End Times Undone ahead of its proper release on August 5th. The record, which is coming out via Merge, is the culmination of two years worth of work, having been recorded in short bursts every few months when the group could convene. Kilgour explains that the 10-tracks on offer were born from a improvisation, rather than being hashed out before the band joined together in the studio. “We were trying to just let the songs be in their organic state, and to catch them while they were as fresh and lively as possible,” he says.
