Listen: Swampland - Honest Man
A new country-infused cut has been unveiled by Auckland grimy rock 'n' rock outfit Swampland. Fronted by Tony Daunt, the 50s-influenced group has released a string of singles recently, with 'Honest Man' being the fourth since 'Devil Soul' came out late last year. Daunt says the song deals with themes of "being lost in the world of addiction, where you can't find an honest man". The group have been tipped to be working on a collection of tracks for release at a later date, but in the immediate future they will be supporting Australian alt-country act Wagons for their shows at the end of the month. Take a listen to 'Honest Man' below...
Swampland will be supporting Wagons for their Auckland show on 29th at the Tuning Fork, and on 30th August at the Leigh Sawmill. Head over here for more details and ticketing information.
