Direct from London, HOT CHOCOLATE, one of the most successful bands to come out of the '70's finally make their way NZ for two gigs only on Tuesday October 21 at the Bruce Mason Centre Auckland and Wednesday October 22 at The Opera House, Wellington.

HOT CHOCOLATE still have a massive worldwide following performing to audiences who love their classic hits and distinctive sound. Recently they completed a major UK Arena Tour with David Cassidy, Smokie and Leo Sayer – the feedback was outstanding.

HOT CHOCOLATE consists of Founding Members PATRICK OLIVE, who started with the band playing percussion and then moved on to bass guitar and vocals; HARVEY HINSLEY, original member and lead guitarist involved in song writing and record producing (Hinsley was responsible for all those amazing riffs heard in songs like "You Sexy Thing" and "Every 1's A Winner"); and Drummer TONY CONNOR, who is the powerhouse of the group and his distinctive solid sound that is thought by many to be the foundation of this amazingly successful band.

KENNIE SIMON, the lead singer has replaced Errol Brown. Since being with HOT CHOCOLATE he has enjoyed great reviews from all who enjoyed his "cool" performance which captures the true sound of the British 70's Band; keyboard player ANDY SMITH, who has been with the band for 15 years. He is a very sought-after session player who contributes all his talents to make the band sound so good; and STEVE ANSELL aka "The Beast" is a multi-instrumentalist which includes keyboards and guitar. He has been with the band for many years and is a talented musician....rumour has it that he can play anything!
