Video: Chelsea Jade - Night Swimmer

Auckland dream-pop songstress Chelsea Jade (formerly known as Watercolours) finds herself in close quarters with a mammoth ice cube in the new video for 'Night Swimmer', directed by Alexander Gandar. The clip's concept was inspired by the art of Zainab Hikmet who, among her various works, instigates self-forming sculptures from concrete packed into melting ice columns. The piece featured in the video works as a apt metaphor for a frosty lover with Jade pushes her hands and body against it, eventually melting it into a puddle. The track is taken from the musician's forthcoming EP Beacons , which was recorded in New York, watch the video below...
