
Watch The Trailer For 'Into The Void' Documentary
Christchurch art-metal act Into The Void are northward bound to play their first show in Auckland in 20 years. The one-off show next Friday coincides with a special screening of documentary Into The Void, which had its world premiere at the New Zealand International Film Festival's Christchurch leg in August. Directed by Margaret Gordon, the film traces the formation of Into The Void in the 1980s by it's original members - guitarist Jason Greig, sound artist Paul Sutherland, drummer Mark Whyte and vocalist Ronnie van Hout. Over the course of 70-minutes, the documentary tracks the ebbs and flows of the influential underground outfit. Watch the trailer below...
Into The Void will be screening at The Academy in Auckland at 6.30pm on Friday 17th October, followed by a performance at Whammy Bar by the current Into The Void line-up with support from The New Existentialists. More information over here.
The following day there will be a screening of Into The Void at 8pm at The Vic in Devonport, followed by a solo performance from Paul Sutherland.
