Listen: Dudley Benson - Tui (Stef Animal Remix)

Christchurch-born composer Dudley Benson has revealed his intentions to release Deforestation, an album of remixes of tracks from his brilliant 2010 offering Forest: Songs by Hirini Melbourne. The new record sees the seven tracks reimagined by local musicians alongside contributions by artists from Japan, Germany and the States. Deforestation will be available on 12-inch vinyl, CD, and as a digital download with all profits going towards the Ulva Island Charitable Trust, the caretakers of the bird sanctuary on the islet located in the mouth of Stewart Island.
