Video: Belle And Sebastian - Nobody's Empire
Footage submitted by fans has been stitched into the new video for 'Nobody's Empire', taken from the forthcoming record by Belle & Sebastian. The footage has been supplemented by clips taken from the Scottish Screen Archive, and is intercut with shots of model Tamzin Merchant mouthing the deeply personal lyrics of frontman Stuart Murdoch. 'Nobody's Empire' deals with the health problems that Murdoch suffered when he was younger, having been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in the 1980s, which ultimately set him on the path to becoming a songwriter. The track is the opening cut on Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance, which will be out in the new year via Matador Records. Watch the video below...
