Listen: Desperate Models - Roaches
Musical whippersnappers Desperate Models are a teen trio doing A+ things in Auckland. Aside from brewing up their self-described "mutant emotional party rock" they are also carving out a place on the all ages scene - most recently the band's members have established the inaugural AGEOLD festival which is taking place this Saturday at the historical Ellen Melville Hall. On top of that, the three friends have also tucked two EPs under their belts this year, with Roaches coming out via Bandcamp a few weeks ago. The six-track offering is a rollercoaster ride of aural twists and turns, with the title track probably being the punchiest (and definitely the shortest) song on board. Take a listen to 'Roaches' below, and head over to Bandcamp to pick up the whole thing for free...
Desperate Models are playing at AGEOLD Festival at Auckland's Ellen Melville Hall on Saturday 13th December along with Die! Die! Die!, Miss June, The Keepaways, PHF, Trust Punks and more. Head over here for full details and to buy tickets.
