Listen: The Julie Ruin - Blueberry Island

The Julie Ruin, the New York outfit fronted by riot grrrl icon Kathleen Hanna (Bikini Kill, Le Tigre), are sharing 'Blueberry Island'. The track featured on 2013 film The Punk Singer, a documentary that centres around the life of Hanna, but has never been officially released until now. The glimmering cut is set to come out on 7-inch that is being sold online by Federal Prism, the label run by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek. The b-side to the single is a Yacht remix of The Julie Ruin single 'Right Home' from their debut full-length release Run Home. Listen to 'Blueberry Island' below...
