Lead Up To Laneway: Perfect Pussy - 'Driver' At Pitchfork Music Festival 2014

Perfect Pussy originally formed in 2012 as a fake band, assembled by frontwoman Meredith Graves for a film called Adult World. Following the completion of the film the Syracuse-based band kept playing and even expanded to the fiery five-piece we know today. Last year saw the group release their breakneck debut album Say Yes To Love, which combines Graves' brutally frank (though sometimes unintelligible) lyrics pushed along by unrelenting musicianship. Surrounding the release of the record the group have been touring the globe including taking part in the Pitchfork Music Festival 2014 where they threw themselves right into their set, a promising sign of things to come for their upcoming performance at Laneway this month...
