Dry-witted songstress Courtney Barnett played a sold-out show in Auckland this year, much to the delight of fans who nabbed a ticket and dismay of those who missed out. Luckily for those who didn't get to see the September show, the Melbourne-based singer-songwriter is heading back this way to play at Laneway Festival, where she will no doubt drop some new material that has been on the boil since the release of her double-EP A Sea Of Split Peas, which features the genius single 'Avant Gardener'.
