Assembled by capital city musician Rhys Stannard, New Zealand Birds is a compilation celebrating the local music scene. Across 10 tracks the album brings together "a diverse selection of songs from the abundant and cooperative community of understated Wellington artists," as Stannard puts it. Contributors include The Bent Folk, Fuyuko's Fables, Lilah (pictured above), Kobra Club, Voe and more. Have a listen below...
The compilation's release is set to be celebrated with a live show, with proceeds going towards the Journey Of Hope charity. Stay tuned for more details.
