Desperate Models Announce Vinyl Release Tour

Auckland alternative three-piece Desperate Models have simultaneously announced a six-date tour and their break up. The trio released their excellent debut album Roaches online last year and have now had it pressed to vinyl, which they will be taking along to peddle on their June tour of the North Island.

Having played alongside international acts like Tonstartssbandht, Slates, Traps PS and The Keepaways, the young group have racked up some firm notches on their collective belts, but have decided it is time to call it quits, writing on Facebook: "it's a real sad thing to happen because being in this band has literally been like being in a relationship except for with two other dudes". The June tour will be the last opportunity to see these guys play their special brand of "mutant emotional party rock" live, so don't miss out. Here are the details...
