After a brief delay due to illness, New York City outfit Jon Spencer Blues Explosion landed in the country late last week for a four-date tour that saw them play Christchurch and Wellington over the weekend. The trio, who still have shows up their sleeve for Tuesday and Wednesday night, are in New Zealand to support the release of their dynamic tenth album Freedom Tower: No Wave Dance Party 2015, which was released earlier this year through Mom + Pop Records.
