To celebrate, were bring in the big guns, an Auckland-based music producer, musician, engineer, beat-maker who is a massive contributor to a sound that accurately expresses the culture, stories and experiences of the South Pacific, working with NZ music powerhouses Ermehn - 274., Che Fu, Dam Native, King Kapisi & Dimmer to name but a few.

Joining resident DJs Hudge (The Uptown Boogie), Lucky Lance (Sky Pirates x Team Dynamite) & Frank Booker is the legendary SUBMARINER (Andy Morton).

Once described by MC Slave as “one of New Zealand’s finest producers of the last twenty years”, Submariner crafted beats, recorded demos, and mixed and produced albums for a generation of New Zealand hip-hop, jazz, and rock artists who shifted the local musical landscape. ABSOLUTE. LEGEND.

The Boog is Neck of the Woods very own in-house club night - a happy, hedonistic throwback to the late 70s and early 80s and the music hip hop was birthed out of - disco, funk and soul but most of all, boogie. Every month we bring together some of the best DJs and selectors from all over the music scene to set the dance floor on fire with their favourite boogie tunes.

The Boog is all about good vibes on the dance floor and a room full of swaying bodies with enough space for everyone, so go ahead and leave any bad buzz at the door.
