Operation Rolling Thunder with Die Musikband and RSM

Operation Rolling Thunder crack open Earth’s crust to emerge from deep subterranean slumber for a rare show at The Cook with psych-kraut ensemble Die Musikband.

Operation Rolling Thunder is Adam Falconer (guitar) and Rob Falconer (drums/samples). Known for their majestic and intuitive sonic conversations, the duo leave nothing in the tank each time they play, hence the long time between outings. Not to be missed.

Die Musikband have played some top shows in 2019, oscillating between structured synth-rock pieces and hypnotic krautrock jams. John Guy Howell (guitar), Jeff Harford (drums/samples), Karen McLean (bass) and Alex Gilks (synths) pack a heap of experience into a band that is fast gaining traction in their music-rich hometown of Dunedin.

RSM will open the night with a sizzling set of original electronica.
