Tour Information
THE UNCOOLS
Wellington’s post-punk aficionados The Uncools have spent many moons assembling sometimes wild and often wonderful versions of material from acts such as Joy Division, The Birthday Party, Television and The Fall, along with a serious nod to the Flying Nun stable with songs by The Headless Chickens, Jean-Paul Sartre Experience, The Chills, The Clean, Snapper, Tall Dwarfs and more.

THE SPINES
Formed in 1981 by Jon McLeary, The Spines are probably the only Wellington band from the early post-punk era still performing. They released early singles on Ripper Records, along with albums on Jayrem and Flying Nun. The Spines of the 21st century are a sought-after live unit with a substantial catalogue of original songs to call on. Their latest album Epidural was released in 2017, showcasing a band with a more roots-rock and bluesy sound than the earlier releases.
