Openside, are back and they’re done tip-toeing around. Fresh from a trip to LA where the four-piece filmed the visuals for their recent grittier single, ‘FCK U,’ they’re ready to hit the road running with a series of live shows in Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton over the coming months.
Building a reputation for energetic live performances, Openside are set to bring an even bigger and brighter set to the stage, for their first R18 show in Wellington and growing all ages crowds in Auckland and Hamilton.
With more new music set for release later in the year, “We want people to know that we’re a pop band with a punk attitude - especially in our live show,” says drummer George Powell. “The shows are high energy, and a place that you can let go of all the things in life that are weighing you down. It’s just as much that for us as well.”

Joining Openside in both Wellington & Auckland will be rising electro-pop star, NAVVY whose debut collection ‘The Breakup EP’ has been making waves across New Zealand over the past month.
