Nick Knox and Rosa Black

Two Dunedin singer-songwriters known for their deeply emotive work return to the Bark stage at Dog With Two Tails.

Nick Knox has developed a unique style of Baroque style keyboard improvisation, using exotic modes and scales, and complex contrapuntal weavings. He alternates between freeform pianistic pieces and deeply felt songs featuring his dark yet subtle multi-flecked voice. Nick has been actively involved in the Dunedin music scene for many years now, and featured in a BBC funded short documentary back in 2014. https://vimeo.com/96039873 

Rosa Black (fka Bethany Robertson) has been playing shows predominantly in Dunedin over the past couple of years. An extraordinary potent vocal capacity, raw power and pinpoint precision. Singing both covers and her own beautifully crafted songs has been regularly enthralling her audiences.
