Honky Tonk Ho Ho Ho Down

Come join us in celebrating a massive year and the start of the silly season!

We will be taking donations for the Valentine Street Pataka / Open Pantry! Bring a non perishable item to donate.

At Karangahape Road's wee honky tonk bar Lovebucket, DJs Kendy Del Mar and Chrissy Cave will play some tunes from 4pm.

From 6pm Burlesque royalty will entertain you and Kendall will play her favourite songs of the season.

Duchess of the NZ Burlesque Festival 2019 and more recently the prestigious Supreme Grand tease award winner, a Pin-up vixen with as many curves as your friendly neighborhood cul-de-sac and well known for her over-the-top stage antics and theatrical expressions it's none other than the tall drink of glitter that is Kiki Kisses.

Internationally recognised performer as well as the Queen of the New Zealand Burlesque Festival 2019 and winner of The Great Kiwi DIY Burleskiwi 2019, Amourous Ava pushes the creative boundaries of burlesque, exploring the strange, the beautiful, the comedic, and occasionally the absurd. A performer with expansive range who utterly embodies every fibre of each of her wild, endearing, theatrical, imaginative and kooky characters.

Closing the night will be Kendall Elise and The Belgraves.
2019 has been a huge year for Kendall. As well as releasing a successfully crowdfunded record in May that debuted at number 12 on the NZ Album Charts, she has played support for Tami Neilson, Gin Wigmore, Larkin Poe and Big Country and received airplay on Australia's Double J and ABC Country. She was also a finalist for the MLT songwriting award for her song 'Slippery Creek'.
