Tour Information
80’s English unsung heroes of the post punk era, The Sound, will be hitting our shores with a one off show, performing with a star studded international cast of musicians.

Original drummer Mike Dudley will be joined on stage by Malcolm Foster (Simple Minds, Pretenders) and well-seasoned Kiwi musicians John Kempt and David Parry.
This is a rare opportunity to see a refreshed version of a great band, who in their heyday sewed the seeds of style for Joy Division and Echo and the Bunnymen to name just a few; with a sound which mixes post punk with soaring guitar lines, energy driven drum styles, and classic 80’s pre sampler keyboard tones.

In a supporting role, bFM darlings of the airwaves Voom will be opening up with their unique indie pop standards, promising to fill the night with pure toe tapping, head nodding tunes. It is also a rare opportunity to catch Voom, who out of intermittent hibernation, are playing a handful of gigs celebrating two decades of existence, which is sure to have their loyal fan base singing along with them throughout the night.
Doors open at 8pm
