Emily Edrosa

Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Emily Edrosa is returning to her hometown of Auckland for a special one-off show at Whammy Backroom on Saturday the 8th of February. Having signed a record deal with US label Park The Van, Emily will be back in New Zealand to spend several weeks working on new material and preparing to launch her own NZ based record label.

Self recorded in her closet/studio in Eagle Rock and mixed by John Agnello (Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth, Waxahatchee), Emily’s debut album ‘Another Wave is Coming’ is a meditation on the isolation and disorientation of transporting a life across the ocean.
Previously known for her membership in legendary, Taite Prize winning noise rock band Street Chant, Emily has focused on her solo music since moving to LA and is excited to share it with her audience at home.
