Jay Clarkson And The Containers, Lars Von Trio and Sandra Bell - Cancelled

3 distinctive acts are to perform at The Wunderbar, Lyttleton Saturday Sept 12th:- Sandra Bell, poet and musician will dip into her extensive catalogue of compelling songs; instrumentalists Lars von Trio will transport us with their alt psychedelia; and Jay Clarkson and The Containers will present their excellent compositions, many of which are currently being recorded for a forth-coming album.

Lars Von Trio are Craig Monk (guitar), Tenzin Mullin (bass), and Greg Cairns (drums). A new band of old hands, together they conjure sets of mesmerising psychedelic jams. Their music traverses genres in ways that confuse even themselves, although fans say their sound lies somewhere between Dirty Three and Gang of Four.
Jay Clarkson and the Containers are Jay (Breathing Cage, Expendables, Playthings) and Alan Haig on Keys (Snapper; Chills; David Kilgour's Heavy 8s) Tenzin Mullin (Suka, Heka) and Mike Dooley (Toy Love, Snapper, The Snares.)
