Magic Factory And Sin City

Tour Information
The two titans of New Zealand dad rock are going head to head for a night of outlaw country boogie at the Thirsty Dog!

In the left corner we have Magic Factory!

A rolling thunder ensemble of ne'er-do-wells, press ganged from various local dirtbag garage punk acts (Bloodbags and DHDFDs), they'll be bringing their brand of debauched country-boogie swagger to the stage. Think CCR playing Mick Taylor era-Stones fronted by Willie Nelson. This rag tag bunch will come a-chooglin' at ya like some righteously stoned freight train... so get a spot by the front cause it's Altamont all over again baby...

And in the right corner .... Sin City!

The 'Alicante Outlaws' strike again! After spending a year locked down in Spain these booze-artists are armed to the teeth with an arsenal of barroom soul and cowboy country songs and will be unloading both barrels on-stage. Recently re-patriated after several years of chewing tarmac with their other degenerate group 'The Cavemen,' the Sin City boys have been tearing up stages and studios around Auckland since their return, and are sure to be firing on all cylinders so don't miss out on the bloodbath!

Plus!! Recent additions to the bill Smokestack Slim will be warming up the crowd and whipping them up into a bloodthirsty frenzy with their signature brand of smooth Stones-esque 70s soul boogie!!

So come one, come all!! One night only!! Who will reign dad rock supreme? Find out for only $10... be there or be square.
