One Waka Take It Easy Album Release Show - Cancelled

Reggae favourites One Waka return to release their Take It Easy EP.
The album is the band's latest collection of songs which highlights their devotion to both traditional and future roots sounds framed by localised stories and a grounded connection to the land and its people.

Ever proud of their hometown, One Waka have made a name for themselves as one of Ōtautahi’s most authentic live reggae acts.

The 9 piece band will be bringing their legendary heavy sound to Christchurch’s Blue Smoke this September as they span the full spectrum of reggae from roots, rocksteady, ska and dub with their latest original creations and their takes on some classics.

The Waka crew will be joined by Messenjah opening the night up with a top ranking vinyl selection.

Be sure not to miss a night of local reggae vibes at its finest.
