A little about the lineup…
DEE & the Sweet Somethings are a three-piece alternative-folk band based in Te-Whanganui-a-Tara. Since forming in July last year, they have performed at MOON, Valhalla, Meow, and Twisted Frequency. They took DEE's glittering guitar sound and sultry vocals, Maxime Zephyr's funky bass lines, and Ryder Smith's transcendental ability to hit things, threw them in a blender et voilà: it's boogie central, baby. They are cooking up some tunes in the bedroom, so watch their Spotify space in 2022!
Florence Kitteridge is a 19 year old singer-songwriter based in Pōneke. She writes alternative musical poetry for people who are hot, funny, or sad – or a combination the three. Classically trained on the piano, she is inspired by artists such as Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, and Kate Bush. She has been songwriting for several years and is excited to share what she’s been working on.
