Auckland-based Steel'n Beats are more than just a steel band - they're part of a musical movement. Utilising the unique sound of traditional hand-built steelpan instruments, this tight-knit ensemble merges classic Calypso, Latin and African rhythms with modern pop. Formed in 2018, and with a growing repertoire of adventurous arrangements for the steelpan, Steel’n Beats create a vibrant and energetic sound that evokes laidback summers.
