Winter Wilson and Sadie & Jay

Two of the best contemporary folk duo's from the UK and AUS/NZ come together for a unique double show at Raglan School of Arts. Grounded in Anglo/Celtic tradition, Winter Wilson and Sadie & Jay's contemporary music steers toward Americana folk and roots.

Kip Winter & Dave Wilson are one of the UK's hardest working acts, performing original songs in stunning harmony, interspersed with wicked humour. Besides touring the UK, Europe, Australia, NZ and Canada they have released ten critically-acclaimed albums. Individually they are talented but together they are simply glorious.

Sadie & Jay's exquisitely crafted songs, harmonies and magnetic stage presence will leave their music indelibly echoing in your musical memory. Jay's intricate finger style guitar and Sadie's melodic double bass create a vivid soundscape for their passionate songwriting from compelling epic tales and ballads to comical ditties and lively rag-time blues.

Either one of these duo's coming to town would be a sensational must-see. The two together will be an extraordinary double concert.
