Black Spider Trio 12" LP Release

Based in Te-Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington), Black Spider Trio have been honing their expert skills for over 10 years, playing their own brand of Jazz Manouche in the style of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.

This concert will feature Black Spider Trio (Sam Thurston and James Quick on guitars and Scott Maynard on double bass) and for this show only, some very special guest instrumentalists. Tristan Clark (violin), Blair Latham (clarinet), Chris Buckland (saxophone), and Shaun Anderson (drums) will all contribute dimension and spirit to the repertoire!

The album:
12 tracks (9 originals and 3 re-imaginings). All featuring the trio and virtuoso guest performances from local legends - Tristan Carter, Oscar Lavën, Anita Clark, Blair Latham, Cory Champion and from Sydney, Australia, John Irish.
Comes with a glossy 24 page booklet containing beautifully handwritten sheet music of the original tunes, song explanations as well as archival gig flyers, art and photos.
