The ongoing irregular night of irie music to beat down the walls of Babylon returns.

Just as it says on the tin... this is a celebration of sound system music in the Jamaican tradition, and also celebrates the UK connection to that. Expect roots reggae rubadub dancehall dub dubstep steppers and jungle.

This time around we welcome some of the newest DJs of the Te Whanganui A Tara scene as Beat Down Babylon becomes an intergenerational thing.

J Swizzle and Swimcap have been gracing the turntables at gigs, parties and the airwaves for a few months now. They join us for a back-to-back set of bangers we're all looking forward to!

Dirty Red has many musical feathers in his dirty cap, and has been playing and promoting events in our fair city for many years now.

Shaw Shot is our grand matriarch with a long history of punkish roots and dub.

James Faction brings decades of experience and passion for sound system music from a regular slot on Homebass on radioactive.fm to the dancefloor at Moon.

Cubeman is our celebrity VJ! He's well known as a lighting guy, photographer, videographer as well as a video artist and we're delighted to add his visual touch to proceedings.
