An Evening With Rob Whelan And The Heartstrings And Hudson Roper

Been a while but Rob and the Heartstrings are taking to the stage for a special show at the very homely Vogelmorn Hall high in the hills of Brooklyn. Expect to hear many old favourites sprinkled with a couple of new songs taking inspiration from southern gospel and neo soul hip hop.


Opening the evening and setting the scene will be poetic piano maestro Hudson Roper. Hudson has been making a few waves on the Wellington music scene over the last year with his original and passionate expressive playing and singing and will be joined by a couple of other local musicians to add there magic. If you’re a fan of Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen then you’re in for a treat
