Ministry Of Folk Feat. Elementary Penguins, Recliner Rockers And Hoop.

We have an exciting line-up for The Ministry of Folk in June and promises to be an entertaining night.

Bring your own drinks and snacks, grab a table and settle down for a night of magic.

Colourful, energetic and immensely entertaining, The Recliner Rockers perform original material alongside a careful selection of covers - a mixture of rootsy rockabilly blues- and have played all over NZ Aotearoa and overseas. For MOF, they will perform a stripped-down bluesy acoustic set featuring double bass, acoustic guitar and saxophone. Don't miss this award-winning band with their heady mix of showmanship and musical prowess.

The Elementary Penguins play a joyful kaleidoscope of songs by the Beatles. Expect loving 3-piece harmonies, guitars, brass, violin and solid backbeat from a fab 5-piece band made up of passionate, energetic and talented members of Tweed, Echo Children, Isla and Hazza Making Noise.

As usual, MOF hosts Hoop will kick things off with their acoustic pop songs featuring big harmonies and touches of fiddle, banjo and flute.
