About Claire's battle:

Claire is a loving mum to Miles (12) and Lola (9) and wife to Lucas, not mention an amazing sister, friend and daughter. In 2020, Claire was diagnosed with breast cancer at 37 years old. After months and months of treatment and surgery, Claire was feeling well and we hoped she had beaten it once and for all. Unfortunately, that wasn't so and the cancer returned, having spread to her bones, requiring further treatment and radiation.
In 2024, tumours were found in Claire's liver and lungs. Recently she was part of a clinical trial for a new treatment, however severe side effects meant she was unable to continue so with the help of her medical team, Claire has decided to take a more targeted approach.
This targeted drug, Trastuzumab deruxtecan (Enhertu), uses chemotherapy and an inhibitor to target the cancer and reduce the current tumours and stop the growth of new ones. The treatment is given in a three week cycle. Unfortunately, this is only partially funded and not covered by Claire's medical insurance - this is where we need your help.
I would like to raise enough funds to cover the cost of Claire's treatment and support Claire to enjoy the time she has with her family. The cost is approximately $50,000.
Claire has been living with cancer for five years and it has been an extremely challenging time for her and her family. Any donation would be greatly appreciated - please help to spread this message and let's give Claire- Bear some hope. X
