Tour Information
We Will Ride Fast
Tauranga-based psychedelic synth-pop solo artist We Will Ride Fast is the music project of singer, multi-instrumentalist, and multimedia creative Kyle Sattler (formerly of Frayden). Once described as “what Robocop’s band would be if he were allowed to express feelings,” Sattler crafts an ever-expanding universe of philosophical soundscapes and gothic drama. As Aotearoa’s own post-punk ontological investigator, We Will Ride Fast delves deep into the metaphysical with a sound that is as thought-provoking as it is sonically adventurous, exploring themes such as consciousness, existentialism, cognitive bias, paradigm shifts and
emotional detachment.

As a multidisciplinary artist, Sattler extends his creative vision beyond sound into the visual realm—producing DIY music videos and immersive installations that mirror the depth and complexity of his music. Pushing the boundaries of genre and form, We Will Ride Fast offers a singular voice in the evolving landscape of contemporary art and music.

Following a flurry of releases in 2024, We Will Ride Fast is back with a new single and video titled ‘Dream Eater From Mars‘. WWRF’s new song poetically considers the reality-ripping, transportive power of the soundtrack. With a string of new songs ready, expect to hear a lot more from WWRF in 2025.
