Lachie Hayes - Subsatellite Tour
Lachie Hayes – Live in Arrowtown
From the heart of the Southland to the historic goldfields of Arrowtown, alt-country troubadour Lachie Hayes brings his soul-stirring sound to town to promote the upcoming release of his debut album - Subsatellite.
Subsatellite, produced by NZ music icon DELANEY DAVIDSON, is a gritty, genre-bending dive into love, loss, and life on the fringe and resonates a sound that walks the line between country, blues and rock.
Raised on a hill country sheep farm in the Catlins, Lachie grew up playing music in woolsheds and community halls, surrounded by generations of family musicians. That rural spirit runs deep in his debut album Subsatellite — a raw, honest collection of songs about love, loss, and the quiet poetry of everyday life.
Backed by his band The Chainsaw Massacre, Lachie brings gritty grooves, soaring ballads, and a stage presence that’s equal parts southern charm and storyteller grit. With singles like This River and S.O.B already making waves, Lachie is quickly becoming one of the most compelling voices in New Zealand’s alt-country scene.
Joining Lachie on the night are Arrowtown’s own Killergrams—bringing their warm, harmony-rich folk rock to the stage. Paired with Lachie’s southern storytelling, it’s set to be a night of top-shelf talent that will take you on an entertaining musical journey.
