This gig is a fundraiser for the film Wishbone. Come join us in celebrating film, music and the creative arts at Barrel Brothers Newtown on the 9th of August.

Wishbone is a coming-of-age queer short film that takes place on students, Noah and Riley’s, final performance at drama school. We follow the two as they try hide their secret affair and navigate the complexity of their friendship after Riley’s boyfriend Pete arrives from out of town. We are crowdfunding to pay for locations, actors, food, costumes, and the plethora of other costs associated with making a great short film. 

The night will begin at 7pm come join us for a quiz, a kiki and cheap beers ($12 jugs!).

Live music will commence at 9:00pm - with performances from post-rock technicians Thousand Acre Plain, shoegaze sensations Half/Angel and the mystifying pop star Eveline Breaker.
