Mara TK (Kai Tahu, Ngāti Maniapoto) is a multi-disciplinary sound artist working at the juncture of kaupapa Māori (Māori led projects) and the disciplines of song writing, popular music, visual art, theatre and sound and music production. Mara is recognised for his music production work across the globe with projects undertaken with artists such as of Kimbra, Just Blaze and Mos Def. His own country’s indigenous projects however, he has said, are the projects that sustain him the most ; “Māori have a beautiful poetic language, and rich oral histories that connect us to all living things. At some point a cousin is going to tap you on the shoulder to come and work with them, it might be that they need some beats, a soundscape or they might only need me to peel potatoes, I really live for those phone calls...”

Melbourne indie icon Jen Cloher (Ngāti Kahu ki Whangaroa, Ngāpuhi) has been hailed as one of Australia's finest songwriters. Their taut, terse brand of rock is charged with the static tension that comes with being an eternal misfit; they have spoken truth to power with the shrewd eye that only an outsider can possess. This will be a rare solo performance featuring highlights from Cloher's back catalogue including new material they've been writing in Aotearoa during 2025. A modern day Patti Smith whose brutally honest, politically charged lyrics mark them out as one of the most interesting and important artists of their day.” - The Independent UK.

Mauri Aura are a taonga puoro collective who journey to uplift the tikanga of our tūpuna, reconnecting paths laid before us, carving the present and future bonds upheld through waiata.
