Auckland based jazz ensemble Stable Mates Sextet performs a selection of original compositions inspired by an array of influences, ranging from Wayne Shorter and Pharoah Sanders to Michael Brecker and Chris Potter. Having performed together regularly fronted by individual bandleaders in the past, the Stable Mates Sextet now joins forces as a collaborative group ready to share new works, and new interpretations of old works.
