FRIENDS FIRST is an intimate gathering built around good energy, good food, and curated cocktails. Join us at Ghost Donkey for a night of tacos, margaritas, and conversation that flows as easily as the rhythm.

Music you can talk, flirt, and move to, with sounds of Afrobeats, Reggaeton, Hip Hop, R&B, and Slow Jams setting the tone.

This one’s about people. Hanging out with your friends or making new ones.
Bring a date, invite your crush, or come solo and see where the night takes you.

As summer begins, we come together to feel, to celebrate, and to connect.

Queer spaces have always been more than parties; they’ve been our meeting points, our sanctuaries, our way of saying we’re still here.
FRIENDS FIRST is a reminder of that spirit, of what happens when community and joy come together under warm lights and good music.

A word from Marjorie Sinclair, CHURCH founder:

For me, it was important to expand CHURCH into different settings where we can cater to everyone across the queer spectrum. Not everyone loves a big rave. Some of us just want to meet our friends in a more relaxed space. My favourite nights with my girlfriend and friends are the ones where we sit down for dinner, have a cocktail, and talk about how the week went. That’s what this night is about. Creating queer spaces where people can do exactly that: bring a date, share a laugh, listen to great music, and sip the perfect margarita.
