In January 2026, Repulsive Woman returns to Aotearoa for a handful of shows. Now based in Manchester, this tour will be her first in home territory since the release of her debut album, Relief, in 2019.
Repulsive Woman started life in 2015 as the solo project of Millie Lovelock, one half of much-loved Dunedin two-piece, Astro Children. In 2020, Lovelock was awarded Best Independent Debut at the Taite Music Awards for her album Relief. In 2019, she relocated to Manchester to pursue a PhD. She has since released The Even Hand (EP, 2023). Her second album is forthcoming in 2026.
Repulsive Woman will play at Pearl Diver, in Ōtepoti on the 17th of January, 2026.
