Tour Information
Whakatū/Nelson based indie rock band Music Sucks is bringing a set of new material back to where it all began. They are joined by Ōtautahi legends S.E.I.S.M.I.C and Cowboy Machine.

Music Sucks started in Christchurch in 2011 as Sam Wilkinson’s songwriting project and has featured a rotating cast of musicians ever since. The current lineup met at an open mic night mid-2025. Music Sucks has released two albums, Periscope Straws (2012) and Road Cone City (2018), plus the singles Wack Job (2020) and Grown Ups (2025). Recording of a new album is underway.

S.E.I.S.M.I.C weave together elements of psychedelia and garage with a wall of fuzz, creating an energetic force through their sound and live performances. Based in Ōtautahi NZ, the current line up consists of Dan Hodges (Guitar, Vocals), Thomas McHutchison (Guitar), Caelin Moore (Bass), and Eikou Iijima (Drums).

Cowboy Machine is the songwriting vehicle for Michael Summerfield (The Undercurrents, The Bats). Debut album U Up? was released in 2020 by Chch indie label Melted Ice Cream.
