A powerful new voice is rising in modern metal. Vana blends her Anaheim origins with her New Zealand upbringing to create a sound that refuses to sit inside genre lines. Fusing metal’s crushing intensity with electronic pop textures, she delivers a bold, boundary-pushing style all her own.

Pronounced VAH-NAH, Vana is a New Zealand–based artist crafting industrial alt-metal that collides savage riffs with haunting electro-pop melodies, trap-leaning production, and explosive breakdowns. Entirely self-taught, independently building both her sound and her following before signing with Sumerian Records in 2025.

A vocal advocate for inclusion, mental health awareness, and female empowerment within male-dominated scenes, Vana is committed to creating a safe, empowering space for women, LGBTQ+ communities, and anyone who has ever felt like an outsider. Her debut album—arriving in late 2026 via Sumerian Records—will unveil a dystopian fantasy universe steeped in dark femininity, villainy, and the misunderstood perspective.
