Foley’s five-track EP LIKE AN ACTRESS was released on February 25 to rave reviews.
Australian music site AAA Backstage called it a “dreamy yet grounded indie-pop release that feels tailor-made for both festival stages and late-night headphone listens”. While US site Femmusic said “For newcomers, it’s a gateway to one of the best music discoveries of 2026”.
LIKE AN ACTRESS is packed with indie-pop gems like the feel-good ‘Honey’, which spent four weeks on the Hot 20 Aotearoa Singles Chart (peaking at #1); the effortlessly cool ‘Cinematic’, which clocked up 120,000 streams on Spotify in just a matter of months and debuted at #8 on the NZ Hot 20 Chart, and the seriously addictive ‘Suckerpunch’. The EP also features the latest single, ‘Going Easy’, which debuted at #20 on the NZ Hot 20 Chart. ‘Honey’ has been a top 10 radio hit in New Zealand – added across The Edge, ZM, The Hits and More fm, and spent 12 weeks on the NZ radio chart (peaking at #1), as well as #1 Most Added and peaking at #14 on the overall top 100 airplay chart.
Now based in Sydney, Foley have spent the last year playing back-to-back shows across the ditch and touring Asia, performing a headline show alongside NZ artist Paige in Seoul, as well as at the Zandari Festival (Seoul), and playing shows with Asian-Australian artist Nat Vazer in Daegu and Busan. In April, they will also support fellow NZ artist Muroki in Sydney and Melbourne.
And while it means that the dynamic duo - Ash Wallace and Gabe Everett - haven’t played their own headline tour on home ground in over a year, it will make their highly anticipated return to New Zealand for the LIKE AN ACTRESS Tour all the more sweeter.
“We can't wait to see all of you across Aotearoa! AKA the best crowds in the world! We’re heading back to where our community started, where our first Foley fan tattoo happened and so many incredible memories. We can’t wait to do it all again and play a brand new show for our kiwi fans,” says Foley.
Foley’s LIKE AN ACTRESS Tour is supported by NZ On Air’s New Music Project Touring Fund.
Don’t miss the triumphant return of one of the country’s most successful indie-pop acts!
