Born out of sheer desperation to dance on stage like a silly goose, with a full noise hyper fem band painted in pink and all shades complementary, the Teardrops are a fun loving yet rebellious party. They sing and play for all humans, no matter what style, whatever vibe, there’s a song for you and all your pals! Alt pop turns danger disco, the Teardrops have a bad bitch only brass section to send you into the night with hooks that you just can’t get out of your head. You’ll be singing about skater girls (okay fine… boys too), cheap thrills and being good at parties, what does that even mean!? Inspired by Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, The Velvet Underground , we love life and we love you.

SAM BURT

Sam Burt is a soft-rock singer songwriter from Ōtautahi Christchurch, where for the last few years he’s immersed himself in various original projects from Spirit Boy to Josette, and is currently a member of NOPILOT and Frankie & The Teardrops.

After three years of exploring his craft, Sam is revisiting his songwriting and taking on more opportunities to share his music. Inspired by the likes of Sam Fender and Hohnen Ford, Sam’s music carries a reflective tone throughout his delicate melodies and ambient guitar lines.
